Presentation of Ljubešćica

The Municipality of Ljubešćica is located 20 km south-east of Varaždin. The population is about 2,700 inhabitants, 1,300 in the village of the same name.

Flag of Ljubešćica

The symbols of Ljubešćica are prescribed by Decision Odluka o opisu i uporabi grba i zastave Općine Ljubešćica, adopted on 1 August 2006 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 16 August 2006 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 20.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, white with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.
The actual flag, as displayed in the Assembly Hall of Varaždin County, does not have a yellow border around the already yellow bordered shield.

The ceremonial flag is a white gonfalon edged yellow ending triangularly with a golden fringe, the coat of arms bordered golden in the centre of it, the name of the municipality green in an arch and a line above and green branches of linden and oak below.
