Flag of Mali Bukovec

The symbols of Mali Bukovec are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Mali Bukovec, adopted on 14 July 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 11 August 2009 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 27, while they were not described in the previous (2006) version of the Statutes.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, green with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.
Green is said to represent happiness and the natural resources of the municipality.

Coat of arms of Mali Bukovec

The coat of arms of Mali Bukovec is "Sable a St. Florian or standing on a column".
St. Florian is patron saint of the municipality. Black is said to represent persistence, prudence and firmness, yellow is said to represent nobleness, openhandedness and light.
